Jack W. Young was raised in the small town of Caruthersville Missouri and Pasadena California. As a young man his country called him into the US Navy where he served four years on board the USS Neosho and USS Surbachi. After his discharge he moved to Bryan Texas to become an employee of GTE, the local phone company. He was promoted to supervisor and later to Advanced Instructor in San Angelo. After his vested
retirement he left GTE and accepted a position teaching telecommunications at Texas A&M University. In 1988 he founded Brazos Valley Telephone Systems. After 32 years in business, he decided to retire and sold the business in 2020. Jack was one of the founding members of Christ’s Way Baptist Church. Serving as a Deacon, God called him into the ministry in 2001 at the age of 52 and was ordained the same year at the church. This shows how God can call anyone, at any age to serve Him according to His will. Jack was called as Associate Pastor at Christ’s Way and then Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church. God continues to use Jack as Associate Pastor at Christ’s Way.
Jack has been married to his wife Donna for 47 years and has two children, Jeremy (wife Risa) and Brittany. Unfortunately, Brittany went to be with the Lord when she was 20. Jack and Donna also have two Granddaughters, Grace and Reagan. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering for Meals on Wheels and spending time with his family.

Ethan Bishop was raised in Midlothian, Texas along with his older sister and younger brother. Ethan attended Waxahachie Preparatory Academy from second grade to senior year of high school, and after that was accepted into Texas A&M University to study kinesiology. Ethan has been singing and learning music from a young age, performing in musical theatre with Family Music Theatre since he was six. After he graduated high school, Ethan felt called to help on the worship team at the Baptist Student Ministry in College Station, where he grew in his faith and learned what it meant to truly worship the Lord and honor God through serving. Ethan looks forward to continue spreading the worship of the Lord at Christ's Way, and can not wait to see what God has in store for the future of the church. In his spare time, Ethan loves to spend time with his family, friends, and girlfriend, as well as swimming and performing in theatre.

God has given Eliab a genuine heart for youth ministry. His first experience in youth ministry came through serving two summers at Camp Loma de Vida in Edinburg, Texas, where he shared the gospel with children and teenagers from all backgrounds. Eliab is excited to serve the youth of Christ’s Way Baptist Church and to witness all that God will do in their lives.
